sunoco 100 gt gas

great for our supercharged cars makes a big difference as i mix it 50-50 or better when i really want that extra kick but dont put it in a na car it wont do anything.only drawback is its 4.59 a gallon but it wont retard timing which is a good thing.anyone intersted in nj its exit 30 mt hope exit in nj on rt 80 west go to the light make a left and sunoco is down 1 mile on right side and wallah 100octane unleaded race gas

that is a lot of money for a gallon of gas? Would it be cheaper to fill up with premium and put a can of octane booster in with it?

Octane boosters generally raise your pctane rating very little. For example, add a bottle that claims to raise your octane rating 8 point and you go from 93 octane to about 93.8. So it is not comparable.

NOS octane booster is supposedly one of the few that do what it claims.

I just dumped a gallon of Toluene in my tank when I filled up. I had the Toluene sitting around and decided to use it finally. That nets 94.2 octane in the end.

But seriously, I don't I need the extra octane right now. Maybe if I leaned it out a bit I might gain some power and keep knock suppressed with a higher octane mix. But I get no sense that there is any benefit to my current tune. But the can was just sitting there collecting dust so I said WTF.
