Just a question on installing the subwoofer. If I just do a regular install of an amp and subwoofer box will the power for the mid and high range be increased to the regular speakers?

also does anyone know a place in the detroit area that does a good job installing.

Yo, try a United Audio.. They should be able to hook you up.. Don't go to a Best Buy or Circuit City for sure.. Dudes at those stores said they couldn't even mess with my radio cuz they have no clue how to mess with stock units. But you woofer and amp is just gonna give you what you need.. BASS.. It will make the system a little louder without compromising what Bose systems brings you, which is clarity. Make sure that they put a an adapter for your amp that will not change your current Bose lines.. All they're gonna do is cut into the rear speaker lines and hook up the adapter and that's it.. Just make sure that you get either a 12" or 2 twin 10" speakers.. Anything else will make it sound like crap.. I also found out that Acura made sure that the car has really good sound insulation. So with that being said, to get air floatin' inside the cabin you gotta pull down that back seat arm rest and then the compartment that gives access tot the trunk...

another question, do you think two 8 inch subwoofers will add enough bass. My friend has a rockford fosgate amp and two 8 inchers in a box he wants to sell me. I want to add some bass but want don't want a car shaking ghetto boom.

I think that you probably want some tight bass.. Which is what i was looking for.. 2 8 inches is a safe bet... just make sure that they have good casing and stuff.... So, if you can get a good deal on it.. hook it up.
