Stupid question...Venting sunroof in rain..

OK, here is the dillema folks, I just had my windshield replaced today and I can't park the car in a garage, yet its raining like a mofo right now outside.

I know they mentioned to me that I should crack the windows a little to allow the air pressure outside of the car and inside to equalize, but if I do that rain comes like a mofo into the car.

I have accidentally left my sunroof vented (with the shade cracked a little) before and no rain has gotten into the car. Can I go ahead and leave the sunroof vented so the windshield doesn't pop out??

I know that I am already running the risk of the windshield not setting correctly because of the rain, but anything to lessen the likelihood of having to reseal my windshield would help greatly.

THanks

I would just pull up all the windows, and close the moonroof. There will not be a drop of water on my leather!!!

I just had my windshield replaced a couple of days ago. They gave me no such warnings except not to remove (for 24 hours) some tape they placed at the top corners to help hold the molding.

Well...

No tape for me, they just said to keep my windows cracked a little and to not slam the doors (to close the doors gently).

I guess we will see when the rain subsides..

I once forgot to close my sunroof (in the vent position) and it poured. Not a drop got inside the car. But, I would never intentionally leave it open when it is raining out.
