Does this mean i have to buy a V-AFC and have someone dyno-tune it, or is there more involved?

 

It depends on what you are trying to tune. Generally people are talking about tuning the A/F ratio which the VAFC can do but with limited results. You can also tune timing, not with the VAFC, and by combining this with fuel tuning you can yield some results.

However, with your level of mods I would not worry about it.
