sorry this should probably go in ramblings, but technically it is car talk ...anyway, stupid question: is there really such a thing as a Mustang SVT Cobra ----type R ?

I think the new Supercharged '03 Cobra matches the performance though. I did like the cool ground effects kit that came with it though....
