stupid mechanics

Check this out, I went to the local Goodyear tire place to have my tires rotated. Simple job, just rotation.
And guess what, those stupid idiots forgot to tighten up bolts that hold the wheel. Good thing that I noticed it quickly, and luckily it did not fall off. It was holding very weak, could fall off any second. I had my other mechanic examine it, and thanks god there is no damage to the rods and rims.
I can't belive those fuks are working as mechanics.... I could die in the car accident should my wheel fall off.
I wonder, should anything bad happen ( damage to car or accident), would I have legal power to sue them or make them liable ?
After all, that place is specialized in Tire business, they claim to be proffesionals... I had a convesation with manager and let them know how pissed I am, all he could say "We are so sorry"
I usually go to my Acura dealership to have work done, but I could never imagine that those fuks could screw updoing such a simple job. Just a wheel rotation, how hard can it be??

You could definitely sue if something happened. But the shop that did it is probably a franchise so its not like you'd be suing Goodyear. The local franchisee may or may not have any money.

I was at a Mr. Tire one time and the mechanic just got down with an Old Muscle car and was going to take it out and joy ride ummm I mean test drive. And as he was backing it out of the bay another mechanic happened to walk by and notice that he didn't put ANY lug nuts back on one of the rear wheels. So they both just laughed and pulled it back in the bay. So now I always check out that kind of stuff before I get in the car.

Yeah, this is just unacceptable... tires are your safety, that should be the highest priority to check they are secured.
Also, I only asked for simple tire rotation, how is it possible to "forget". Its not like I asked them to do 30 things, and they messed up one thing......
I am mad....
