stupid Lude!! grr..

Was driving my way into town to go to work and this
red lude 97-2002 model not sure which trim pulls up beside
me at a light. When it hits green he guns it and i so just wanted
to smoke him right there, but i've only got 450km on my odometer
and didn't want to rev past 4000rpms so i just let it go.. otherwise
he'd be seeing the rear of my new spoiler.

On the other note: I'm sure our cars can walk any stock lude right? Or any lude with i/h/e?

CLS6 will kill a stock lude and should walk a pretty well modded one (h/i/e).

My buddy has a nice 2001 lude (stock) and I walked him bad getting on the highway once! I had just gotten headers installed so power to the wheels would have been similar (guessing 220-225 fwhp) to a CLS6. I should race him again. Oh and he has a auto.

I guess my assumptions about the CLS was right. I was just
PO'd that he thought he had me. It's a bitch not being able to shift past 3-4k on a new car..

how long did u guys baby the break-in period? I'm assuming 1500kms...

I waited till about 1200 km to be sure before I let her loose.

But since I bought the car in October and live in Toronto, it wasn't long before the snow came and ruined all the fun ...

BTW, I don't how you guys in Vancouver survive with your 50 km/hr speed limit on all roads !?! ... I remember my cousin getting a ticket for going 62 km/hr once ! ( even the highways are just 75 km/hr limit right ? )

No the speed limit on the highway is 80 in the city and 90-110 approaching the outskirts.

It's summer now and i can't wait to let her loose! I heard that with the AEM + the vtec its roar is heavenly... tell me that's true!

being american I guess I'd read it as 80mph! Besides, can the mounties really catch me in my TLS?

I believe the 2700 number is for North America since the 3.2 CL is only produced in one plant in the USA ...

which makes our cars a bit more unique since all our settings are to the metric system (km/celcius) and we have the windshield fluid alert on our dash (which is good since it snows so damn much in Toronto in the winter )

Enjoy the ride man ...

Yeah, this winter was a bitch...I had snow installed when I bought mine in November. I was living a little north of barrie during winter...lots of snow...oh well, i was just learning to drive stick so it was okay...less chance to stall with the reduced traction! My friend's got a TL-S...we could go to the TL meets. Last time they had about ten guys show up and some accords as well. I couldn't go cause I had to work.
