Stupid all-weather matts & 6MT

Anyone else seen this...

I put my all-weather matts into my CLS6MT (had them from my '01TLP, may it rest in pieces), and the damn thing binds the clutch!!! No biggie, I just cut the f-er, but was wondering if anyone else saw this. I believe there is ony one set for all cars.

I know, I know... Boring post (I wouldn't respond either).

My Acura all-weather rubber mats don't bind anything.

I just bought them a month or two ago -- maybe they've changed them, or maybe the CL and the TL mats are different.

Mine have been in the car for the past 3-weeks without a problem.
Did you remove the other mats and make sure they’re hooked on the pegs properly?
Mine are two years old and from my 2001 CL-S.

Yeah... It was in the peg and still ~1/2" too long... Not that big of a deal, just wierd I guess.

Thanks for confirming my stupidity though...

I unbolted the pegs. there is a flap of carpet that is tucked underneath that will cover the hole. The peg is really not necessary with the normal mat IMO. The mat is the perfect ift and has like 10,000 little spikes to hold it in place!

(i clean my car a lot, it gets a little irritating)
