I have an '01 CL and think I may have a slight leak in heater core. Am noticing some smell that resembles antifreeze when start up after sitting all night- lasts maybe a few seconds max. Nothing leaking under car. Anybody know of problems (short or long term) associated with putting one of those stop leak additives into the cooling system?

 

No problems that I have heard, but it is a temporary fix.
