stone headers question!!!

stone headers question!!!

i was wondering when buying Stone Headers do the same ones the fit a 6 speed fit an automatic as well? i asked a guy on e-bay that was selling them and he said that the same set will fit a 6 speed and will fit a non type s cl. anyway, i don't want to buy a set for a 6 speed and have fitment issues....help.

i was looking at those too, i called comptech and this is what they told me

if the rear header has a bend in the pipe near the tranny then it will fit all of the CL and TL even the 6 speed which is what the bend was made for

Yeah it will fit with no problems. The ones that are made to fit the 6speeds are "universal" in that they will fit all '99-03 TLs and '01-03 CLs. Can't vouch for the fitment on those Stone headers though ... take a look at this thread on the first 6-speed Stone Headers that were tested: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152164
