Yes, but you need to mod it.. 1" bend is needed on the rear pipe and it would fit. Make a search and it was done using an OBX header.

It was dustbuster4 who did that.

Just a reminder, Tomorrow is the last official day for the first GB. Now for those who promised to send payment, if you are late by a day or two that is fine as long as you let me know.

Thanks.

I am extending the GB till April 25th. This does not delay the GB delivery of headers. It is only a measure to help those who wants to pay to catch up.

Good luck for all.

1. Is the GB still open?
2. So Stone has less resonance than obx but same gains right?
3. Even though comptechs expensive price how does it compare, resonance and power? basicly the same as stone?
4. how much are obx headers?
5. how much are stone headers with out GB?
6. How long would we REALY have to waight? 2-3 weeks?
7. what new brands of headers are expected to be available in the future? (Expecting price deflation)
8. How do you do pay pal?

SORRY for all the questions, but this will help me best make a decision to wait or not. Also I looked in archives and couldt find answers to these questions, so someone else might have the same questions? THANKS

I'll try to help you out from what I've read/heard. I'm sure Nashua will hop in to answer anything I didn't.. or correct me where I'm wrong

1) Extended until 4/25/2003.
2) Not sure if this has really been tested, but I know Nashua has them and has not complained about it.
3) Comptech, OBX and Stone headers all appear to put out very similar power.
4) I've seen the OBX headers go for anywhere from $330-$390 or so.
5) These are the first time the headers have been made... and they are being made for the group-buy. I'm not sure they'll even sell them after the GB is over.
6) Seems like at least 3 weeks since the headers still have to be made.
7) Can't say. We don't know of any at this point.
8) www.paypal.com ... sign up, and pay Nashua based on his instructions in his first post.

Hope that helps at least a little

Stone Headers Vs Comptech Headers: It was unfortunate that we did not have a comparo dyno of those headers on the same car. However, We did Stone Headers Vs OBX Headers and we saw 4 lbft and 4 WHP more over the OBX.

BRCLS:

2) There is NO Resoance sound on my CLS with Stone headers.
3) The Stone Headers, OBX headers and Comptech are basically the same design.
4) As Junior said, the GB price includes shipping.
5) Stone headers are not available outside the GB.
6) Headers are expected to be shipped End of April, 1st week of May.
7) For ages there were rumors that DC was researching an application for the V6, also the Prototype headers design (now sold to Opak) has been in R&D for more than 4 years. We might never see those coming to the market.
8) Instructions are posted on the first page of this thread. I am not accepting Credit Card Payment for my Paypal Account. If you need to do that You have to PM for more info. There is at least $15 fee for Credit Card Payments !!

First, this is the last day for this GB. The GB will be offically closed at Midnight (EST). The latest update is that the Headers are still on schedule to be shipped in the first 2 weeks of May.

Good luck for all.

I PM'ed Nashua, and he wrote me back after I posted my first "where's my headers" message and let me know the groupbuy was on schedule (he also posted the same info on the *****world.com forums). However, he said that the headers should be here the 1st or 2nd week of May ... We're coming real close on the 2nd full week of May now, so I'm hoping he has some tracking information on the headers.

Guys,

I feel for you. I hate waiting more than you do.

First, I feel the pain and anguish of holding YOUR money in a escrew paypal account. It is huge responsiblity on my shoulders. However, I can't touch the money till we ship YOUR headers. So rest assured your money is still intact. Just frozen in the paypal account.

Delays was expected from the beginning. I have been waiting more than 3 hours for a reply about the status of the headers... Still waiting like you. Again, I hate waiting more than you do.

Let me know how I can help more on this issue.

Or did they even ship yet? ... I mean if they haven't shipped yet then that means we probably can't expect them before sometime in June! ... (2 weeks to Nashua, then at least another week to get to us). That puts us into June.

Last week we didnt have any news other than "its on schedule", but there should be tracking information by now right?

How come test fitment headers keep coming in, but the headers which we're paying for aren't?

Nothing against you Nashua, I know that you are working hard to get these headers to us ... And I know someone else mentioned that we need to expect some sortof delay with a newly produced product, but some sortof status isn't too much to ask out of the company I don't think. The last status we got was that everything was on schedule ... And that schedule called for an arrival date of the 2nd week in May (and this is the 2nd week in May now that we're in), with headers arriving to us before the month is up.

LiQiCE,

Guys, first let me appologize. This is the latest update I have as of now.

Today, I found out that there is indeed more delay . I was so about this, I was sending emails back and forth to find out why the headers were not done and shipped as expected, on time!.

The reason the headers are now delayed is the following:

The test headers were hand welded (that is expected) , the orginal plan called to automate the welding process for the mass production runs to save time and labor cost. Now, this turned out to be more complicated than usual for this specific application. Therefore, it was decided to hand welds all the mass produced headers at NO extra cost. The only downside is more delay to get them done.

As for the test headers, we ordered one in Mid April and was shipped May 6th. It was Air-shipped from UK and then Fedexed here in US. The first batch is a minimun of 50 sets and has to be shipped as one order. Of course, we cannot air-ship all these sets at no cost.

Finally, I emailed and asked for a firm shipping-date range. I owe you to keep you updated but I hate to go through a line of delays posts. I have to have a firm shipping-date and stick to it. I will have this shipping date info in a few days.

Please I hope that you do understand that I am doing the best I can to get you the headers. Those delays are totally out of my control. All what I can do is bitch about it to the Factory Rep to get those headers done as you do. I expect at least 2-3 weeks of more delay since the headers did not ship yet from UK.

Again, I am here to help you anytime.

Nashua.

Nashua,

Hey man, like I said. I just wanted to know whats going on! Good news or bad news is better than no news what-so-ever. I don't mind the waiting as long as I know there's a reason for it. When you get a firm shipping date in a few days, please let us know! Thanks again for your efforts in getting these headers to us

Latest update [not the FedEX shipping date, but new update anyways]:

The headers would be shipped from UK first week of June. That is only 2 weeks away. Then, only shipping delay which should not be that bad.

I regret the delay as you do.

So we're looking at 2 weeks from June for you to receive the headers, and then another week or so to receive the headers at our doorsteps. So we're looking at the end of June huh? 1 month off, not too bad I guess

How are you planning on shipping the headers out to us? FedEx Ground or UPS Ground?
