If I would have known about this before, I would have installed konis at the same time I had CT springs/sways originally installed. I would have saved on the extra labor and 4 wheel alignment that I need to pay now to install the konis.

I put mine on with about 10K miles on my shocks. I hope to get as much use out of them b4 I upgrade. So far I haven't noticed any degradation in ride quality.
I've heard of people getting 40-50K on the ct spring stock shock combo, but they added them very early.

One thing that is important to note here is that the longevity of a component like a strut is very dependent on how and where you drive .If you are an all out 9/10 ths over the top driver on bad roads it goes without saying the parts will wear faster then again if you live in an area blessed with decent pavement and your are not looking to chase down every errant Porsche that gets in your bombsights the parts should live a longer life .Overall the ride quality is very good but ofcourse firmer ,Sways are a good complement to the springs as it really allows the suspension which is actually a very good design to work as it should .

i installed comptech springs at 45k, sticking with the stock shocks. the gas in the right rear shock leaked out at about 4.5k miles later. i thought a pressurized can of of something in the trunk developed a leak. upon inspection on the side of the highway, i determined that the source of the leak was from the shock. i'm at about 52k now and i feel that the car has become bouncier. YMMV
