Stock HID's

i just had one of my inverter/bulbs changed at the dealer. While driving I noticed that when I park in the garage and look at the light shining on the wall, the one that was changed out has a slightly yellowish tint to it vs. a fully white reflection. Is this normal or is there a "burn-in" time required for them to match? I will try to call up my advisor and see what he says...but I'm kinda afraid there won't be much they can do and this is normal. Anyone have any thoughts/questions on this?

I think I read somewhere that HIDs have a burn-in\break in period of a few days or a week. don't quote me though. anyone else want to chime in on this one?

BTW gsr, nice car .. I should've bought my 03 anthracite in 6spd

yes thats normal. the colorshift takes place after 100hrs or so. ur new bulb is prob about 4000-4100k and ur old bulb is prob about 4300-4400K. just make sure the brands are the same. if for some reason u have a philips and an osram that will never change. the philips will always be whiter, and the osram more yellow.
