I recently joined this local car club in Atlanta called WhOtHeNnOw.(Who Then Now) NE way. There is this guy with this 99 2.3 CL I start to talk to him and he starts to name all of these mods he has on his car. Intake, exhaust, headers, shortshifter etc. etc. So he's like you wanna race?? I never turn down a race even if I know I'm gonna get beat but I figured this might be a decent race. My bone stock 97 3.0 vs his 99 2.3. So we catch the first light and I'm powerbrakin like a MF holdin it at 2200 for a couple of seconds. 3 2 1 Green!! We both get good launches but I was ahead in 1st by 1/4 of a car length. Going into 2nd I was up by 1/2, at the end of 2nd, 1 car length and really pulling. By 3rd he gave up as I was about 3 cars ahead. We went again, this time at a rolling start of about 20mph. Same deal as before. Beat him by about 3. He was a little surprised but not too much. Good sport, clean race.

I'd love to run against a stock 3.0 and see how much the mods have improved the performance of the car. Give me a shout sometime in mid Jan when I return to college.

I'll be driving past you guys again on the 2nd, on my way to Alpharetta to visit my Moms again. This time, If I see a fucking dear on I-85 by the Gwinnett Mall, I am going to hit him, then get out and kick the shit outta him. Bastards messed up my bumper last time down, 7 bills to get fixed and a pedestrian for 4 days.

I'd like to see a few ATL Cl's and maybe race your modded 4 banger, my CL is almost stock.
