Hey Guys,
I'm getting my windows tinted on Monday. I'm wondering what you guys did about the Acura TLC and Alarm stickers on the window. Just take them off then tint, tint over, or even tint then put them back on. Is there even a point, you think the alarm sticker does anygood, or just use the clean look?

Also, i'm taking my car in the for service to fix a rear headliner rattle, and a zipping sound when i turn my wheel at slow speeds. And there is the sound of squeking when i get out over the front driver wheel. Once i sprayed Wd-40 under the front driver suspension, and it worked, but it was a temporary thing, so i'm taking it to get it taken care of. People say just lube the ball joint right??

Last thing is do you guys notice that your doors look open, when they are really closed. Like the bottom part sticks out more. And the chrome trim on the door is lower than the body chrome trim. I hope i'm not just seeing things. How do you think they can fix this. Readjust the door. I like the know what need to be done to fix stuff before i go in or it never gets fixed cause i have a bad dealer. Thanks

if it's a good tint guy, he'll take them off. I will look like shit if he just goes over them. just another place to get air bubbles

Yeah thanks, he seems to be pretty good. He was recommended to me by JuniorBean cause he did his tl-s there. My last question is that he is going to cover the Dot Matrix with Vinyl cause he says that looks the best. Isn't the Dot Matrix for radio recetion? How is this gonna affect my radio? Hopefully nothing at all

Have them take the stickers off. It'll give the windows a cleaner look. The chrome trim on both my CL's weren't aligned properly. My TL is fine. I guess its just a quality issue. My tint guy just sanded the dot matrix to apply the tint. It came out ok but you might be better off with the vinyl.

My guy did it without me asking. He chose correctly.


They are just paint. Nothing to do with the radio. If anything, they may have been to reduce glare in the back window.

I believe the tint guy has to remove the stickers to properly clean the window before tinting.
My guy scrapes the inside with a razor blade before application.

the TLC stickers were taken off by my tint shop and I didn't even notice for more than a year; but i didnt really care.
