steering wheel vibrations while braking

Hey'a all,

When I am driving about 50-60MPH and begin to apply brakes (not hard, just light braking) I am feeling that my steering wheel begins to vibrarate in my hands.
Does it mean my rotors are getting wrapped and I need new pads?
I really hope this is the case, and not some serious mechanical problem.
about 25K miles ago they resurfaced my rotors and gave me new pads, I mostly drive city, so it probably makes sense that they went bad

Yes. I'm a newbie owner, but I understand rotor warpage is common on our rides. I'd run a search here to find out others' experiences.

If it only happens during braking, then it's warped rotors. Whenever you replace the rotors you need to replace the pads as well. The warped rotors don't have anything to do with the pads, though.

yeah, I had had mine re-surfaced under warranty as well, only 25K miles ago.... but warranty is over, and my dealer won't give me any *goodwill* discounts and etc...
anyway, do you think I could have my rotors resurfaced the 2nd time, or they should be replaced.
I have my friend mechanic, and I take my car to his shop. I'am thinking of getting Honda OEM rotors & pads, and having him install it for me.

If I had a rotor problem w/o a warranty, I'd do exactly what you just said. I'd see if the existing rotors could be cut, and if not, I'd get some OEM replacements installed.

Mine is same. I bought the car and it started shaking only when going from a low to speed to a high speed quickly. Got the motormounts replaced. Started shaking again. And now its shaking when I brake. Im not a happy camper

FYI, the Brembo blanks will ALSO warp. Mine just did with the Satsfied Pro Ceramic pds after about 15k miles. I got some Hawk HPS pds so I had the Brembo's turned and put hawks in. Warp is gone but we'll see for how long.

Mine are now starting to vibrate at 25k miles. I had them machined due to dragging pads because of rust on the rotors ~ 8k ago. I dont know whether or not to take it to the monkeys at the dealership, but I dont feel like speding $200 in rotors/pads already.
