Steering wheel Vibrations!

I have just put back my 18" rims I noticed while cruising at 65+ a minor but noticable steering wheel vibrations. Is it (one or more)of the new rims needs to be balanced?

Do I have to rebalance the rims each time I mount them. (The 18" have been stored for 2 months)

Did you apply pressure to the brake? If yes, your brake rotors are messed up. I think I read your post complaining there's noise when you hit the brake. If this is the case, have your brake looked at.

If you didn't hit the brake then your wheel(s) need to be balanced.I dont think you need to balance the wheels every time you mount them.

Good luck.

Go here, read, and then click on "locate a GSP9700". Hopefully you'll find one near you.

This could straighten you out. IMHO anyone with 17" or more should be utilizing this system. I had all four corners run through it, and noticed a significant difference.

Costs about $20 a corner. But when you consider how much money some guys have into wheels and tires.....

Rebalance first, if not the rotors are warped (common problem).... I suggest replacing with x-drilled.
