Steering Wheel Puller
Anyone ever removed their steering wheel? I saw one on the black market extremely cheap and picked it up. Mine is fairly worn around the sides and top, it would look a lot nicer to get the new one put in. I took everything off just to see what I'm working with because im scared of the airbag. All in all it looks simple except the Helms says to use a steering wheel puller, anyone have any experience or recommendations?
you can get one like this

doesn't have to be a snapon ($$), you can get a cheap one at your autoparts (paid mine like $20 i think), i used the link so you could see the shape of the tool.
you unscrew the middle steering big nut (17mm or 19mm i don't remember), but leave it on the column, unscrew it untill the top of the nut is flush with the top of the threads. then you install the puller : there's already 2 threaded hole in the steering, you put 2 long screws through the puller (opposite holes) and tight them in the steering wheel, then align the middle shaft of the puller with the center of the steering column and screw until everything hold itself in place, then tighten the middle screw so it will pull the wheel. when it gets out, it'll make a big sound and everything comes loose in a fraction of a second.now you take everything apart and you'll have your wheel free
