i was wondering if you could still use the steering wheel controls if you change the radio head unit? SteetEffectz?

 

one more question. anyone know more about the head units that recieve radio stations from satillites. supposedly they wont have any commercials.

 

I am thinking of using the radio controls to instead control the sportShift tranny.

Anyone else do this, or think of it?

I figure I could wire the up and down buttons in parallel with the up and down shifter switches and then be able to control gears using the steering wheel controls.

What do you think?
