Steering on type S slower than premium
Steering on type S slower than premium
I was looking at Acura's website and noticed that the CL-S steering ratio is 16.1:1 and the CL-P is 15.8 and the TL-S is 15.9. Why is the CL-S have SLOWER steering? Makes no sense to me.
I don't think steering ration necessarily equates to slower steering...you can still turn the wheel faster to make it turn faster right? I would guess it is to help offset torque steer with the higher output engine. Just a guess.
IIRC, the S uses a different steering setup than the P. It uses torque rather than speed to adjust the boost. Wheel/tire size may also be a variable in the steering ratio since the S also has a wider turning radius.
