Starting Problem
Hi,
I have 3.2 cl type S. about 7500 miles. Recently I am having a peculiar problem. My car does not start in the mornings when the temperature is in 30's and 40's. I have to crank it 6-7 times before it starts. The reason why I am surprised is that, it did not have any problem to start at much lower temperatures during the winter. I have been using premium gas all the time.

I have a problem starting it too, and the temps are in the 80s here. Its starts but it takes it about 4 or 5 seconds before it starts.
I will be checking this out when I get my 4000mils oil change.

I turn the key and let it "charge?" for a sec, then the crank don't know if it makes a difference.

My car has 12,000 miles and starts quickly all the time at any temperature.
I turn the switch on, wait until the "Check Engine" light goes off (which is pretty much the time the gas pump needs to get up to working pressure... you'll hear the zooming noise go off) and I'm ready to go.
You may have dirt in your gas filter and/or injectors.
Some people say that with a CAI, the engine may take a little longer to start. That's because breathing is so much free that the gas is not initially sucked out of the injectors by the compression as much.
I don't know if that's true or not.
