Here's the difference between a N/A S200 and a S/C S2000.

Newest issue of SportCompactCar has a review of the Comptech S2k and a nice big dyno graph.

13.8 in the quarter ain't too shabby, but I guess I should have been expecting low 13s to high 12s considering the power-to-weight.

Maybe the gearing would need to be changed?

Don't know, but the race video says one thing (same as that nice fat dyno curve), but the small increase in 1/4 mile leaves me wondering the same thing (about not having low 13s)

they hit mid to low 13's...the mags gave it justice...even w/ the SC you still gotta rev the shit out of it to drive...and only 198lb ft w/ the blower? whats that...do they atleast break loose in 2nd?

I have to agree. The SC is nice, but you guys fail to understand that it is a CENTRIFUGAL SC...not a ROOTS SC..which would make all the difference in the world....lots of hp but weak on the torque...they basically put a turbo that only makes 6 psi of boost. Hondas need torque, and the S2k doesn't have it. And what are you comparing times to? The Mag times? I think for the 100hp gain...that is about right..remember that the s2k runs maybe low 14s...NOT HIGH 13s and the extra power adds just about .7~1.0 gain in the 1/4...

Don't forget that the SC'd S2000 had an extra passenger and that the NA S2000 actually got a better launch.
