I am currently selling my SSr GT1's in 17x7.5 and I am thinking of getting the SSR Competition in the new silver color in 18x8 inch with 235/40 tire size probably the Potenza's. I love 18 inch rims on coupes and the wider the tires the better it looks. I know they won't rub with Comptech springs because it has already been done with the 18 GT1's. The only problem is everybody I know loves my GT1 in 17's but I want bigger. I was looking at the 1999 MB SL500 with the 18 AMG rims and that car looks incredible with that setup. Let me know what you guys know about the SSr Competition should I go with the GT1 in 18 I dont want to do the same rim.
