SRS Light just came on??? Help!

SRS Light just came on??? Help!
I noticed that my SRS light just came on this weekend. I have a 2001 CLS with Auto. I have about 62400 miles on the car? Any hidden hidden warranties on this item? Also, does anyone know how to check to see if a CL has an extended warranty through Acura after 50,000 miles? Thanks.

reset it. do a search on it and you will find instructions. pm if you can't find them. if it comes on again, you may have a real issue.

Here is the easy fix, to reset the light. If it keeps coming back on, you have a bigger issue, like the sensor going bad.

If it does not work the first time try it again, the timing has to be perfect. My first time it took me 3 attempts before it worked, but it did work.

My SRS light came on. I took it straight to the dealer. It ended up being the computer. At least thats what they told me. Im not sure if its warrantied with more than 50k though.

Anyway, the paperclip fix, has worked for me x 2. Just be careful, I accidentally blew my fuel pump fuse while doing it the second time. Simple repalcement of fuse and all was fine again.

call dealer and see if it's still under warranty,,,some safety stuff has extendeded warranty. My passenger seat belt sensor went bad at around 45k miles,, no problems sence.
