how did it went on? Did you pulled a fuse while the engine is running (being a idiot like myself) or start the car with missing front seat?

SRS is the seatbelt/airbag/opds/cable reel system. It stands for Supplemental Restraint System. Seatbelts themelves are covered for life. That includes the buckle and retractor. All else is covered up to 50K or 4 years from orig date of purchase...UNLESS the car was in an accident and the airbags went off...causing the srs lite to come on.
