SRS light on AGAIN

Ok so my srs light was on a few months back and I had that looked at and taken care of under the warranty. Well its back on again. I don't know what is causing it. Could it be the same problema and is it still covered??
Now I cant afford to take it to the dealership to have them look at it, determine it is not under warranty, and then charge me the 80 or so dollars just to look at the code. So is there a place I can go to check out the code for free??

Also my rear veiw falling off. Not from the glass, but the peice that attaches to the glass and the mirror isn't holding the mirror up. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to fix. Any advice would be helpful.

I'm not sure I'm following you about the mirror however, did you ever get some mirror glue for it?

As for the SRS light, I would stop in and ask service about it. The worst thing they can say is and you won't really know until you try.

I'd still be willing to help you out with the mirror issue. I'll be house sitting over at my folks for about a week starting Sat. if you want to give me a call and bring it by sometime.

I looked at the mirror glue but thats to stick it to the glass. Its hard to explain, but its where the arm of the mirror attaches to the part that is stuck to the glass. It clips on.

Yeah, I guess I'd have to see it to understand. At any rate, my offer to help if you want it still stands. Just let me know.

BTW, are you lowered yet? I saw an SSM CL-S the other night at Founders and Front St. sitting at a light. I thought it might have been you but it was lowered and I couldn't tell what kind of a/m wheels were on it. Looked pretty clean though.

Nah she's still riding high. Can't afford it yet, but i know i need to repalce them soon though the ride is getting rough. I keep thinking i have a flat tire. I had a coupe friends and my dad check it out, but they are as clueless as me. I will have acura look at it when I get the light checked out, but if they won't help I will take you up on the offer.

OPDS sensor? I just purchased a 01 cls and the sensor was the cause for my srs light being on.

What did they find wrong with your car the first time the SRS light came on? My SRS light came on a couple weeks ago but have not had it looked at. And iv noticed my mirrors do not tilt down when i go into reverse now..

Is the switch for the mirrors in the center?

As long as its caused by a bad opds unit or one of its sensors its covered for ten years or 150,000. I took mine in for a tripped SRS light and it was a bad seat belt buckle. They said seat belts have a lifetime warrenty and that it is unrelated to the OPDS warrenty extention. You'll never know what is causing the light if you don't get it checked out. It might be covered it might not, but you have to go to find out.
