Hey, your imagestation photo couldn't be displayed, I think imagestation doesn't allow you to link to other sites. I am also curious on how to reset my SRS light.

i also found this for civics:

It is a yellow connector with two wires in it that is plugged into the fuse box, unplug it and pull it down. Once you have done that you can begin the process of erasing the memory. NOTE: This will only reset your SRS System if what caused it to trigger has been fixed, Ex: turning the ignition on with any SRS Plugs disconnected, such as pulling your seat out.

1st step in erasing the memory is to turn the ignition off and connect the SCS Service connector to the MES Plug,

2nd Turn Ignition on. SRS indicator light will come on for about 6 seconds then go off.

3rd Disconnect SCS service connector for MES connector within 4 seconds after SRS indicator light goes off. SRS indicator light will come on again.

4th Reconnect SCS service connector the MES connector within 4 seconds after SRS light comes on. SRS indicator light will go off.

5th Disconnect SCS service connector from MES connector within 4 seconds. SRS indicator light will indicate that memory is erased by blinking 2 times.

6th Turn ignition off, and wait 10 seconds. Start vehicle like normal and light should come on and go out like normal. You have reset your SRS light, congrats.

If it does not work the first time try it again, the timing has to be perfect. My first time it took me 3 attempts before it worked, but it did work.

neat trick! also, from what document does this come from? appears to be some online manual - is there something like this for the CL that exists? or did you just scan from the Helms for the TL into this environment?

On the alldata instructions it tell us you to have ignition off, connect jumper, then turn ignition to position II.

But on ur instructions t says to have ignition off, connect jumper, then turn ignition on?

Which one did u do?

You have to have the service connector. I tried using the jumper but it didnt work. Helm manual clearly spells out not to use jumper.

I reset my car before, the service connector is basicaly a jumper/paperclip.

I reseted it before without any problems, it came on after i installed my shock sensor.

It came back on again acouple of months ago. I was too lazy to reset it again, i thought it was nothing (false indicator), so i tried to reset it again, and it wouldn't let me, so i guess there is really somethign wrong with it.

Then I guess it depends on the codes. I pulled the memory seat fuse out when the engine was running (stupid me, I know). I tried several time with a jumper but it didn't work. Costed me $85 bucks to have it reset at the dealer. The service advisor told me the codes states inteference from user and everything related to SRS reported error.

CLS-Blue, I drive a 01 Silver CLS
