Spy Shots: '04 Infiniti FX45

This production-ready 2004 Infiniti FX45 was spotted while parked rather nonchalantly aside a parking meter overlooking the Pacific. Looking almost identical to the 2002 NAIAS concept, this is obviously the final styling.

We expect the newest crossover from Infiniti to debut next spring and be powered by a 300-horsepower 4.5-liter V-8 at introduction, with a 3.5-liter V-6 possibly following in fall 2003.

Infiniti is counting on the car-based (G35/Skyline) all-wheel-drive crossover to be a hit, and forecasters are predicting sales to be roughly four times that of the outgoing QX4.

how much? $55k... if so.. I will pick the BENZ ML 500 or AMG edition for a bit more...

They need to call the G35s the Nissan Skyline, the new GT-R a Nissan and get rid of Infiniti, it is a joke.

I think it would look better in some traditional colors like black and white and silver, not these weird colors.

This is not too bad, sorta like Rx300 with more edge and styling. That black line has got to go and it needs biggers rims. Other than that, its ok.

Eh, I don't agree. I get that same "WTF????" when I look at the Element. And I'm not a big fan of CL's styling for being a "sports coupe". So I don't think I'm too biased in saying this car is pretty ugly.
