springsANDshocks?

If I'm planning a 1.5 inch drop for my '01 CL-p, should I go for H&R springs and Koni yellows? Or should I just drop it with just the springs? I've also been looking at the comptech springs but they say the best drop is 1-1.25. The shocks are sweet, but pretty expensive...so I'm not sure if it's worth the $$$. Also, I don't wanna be blowing my stock shocks. I'm no expert at these things so some opinions would be appreciated.
Thnx.

I would suggest jumping into the Tein coilovers group buy. I believe its 850 total for the Teins and they give you the best quality ride and comfort as far as suspension modification for the CL goes.

I've got the Comptech springs and Koni Yellows and i think it's perfect. Nice drop, raked to the front and no probs with curbs, speed bumps or driveways.

The Konis are worth it. I love them. Depends on what you want, though. Konis are adjustable stiffness.
Springs you can't go wrong with CT or HR. Either is a fine choice.
Do a search for more feedback using "shocks" or "springs". That will get you all the info you desire.
