Done up nicely with factory spoiler, tints (maybe 20%), and Debadged except for the Acura emblem. It might be lowered slightly and has an AEM license plate.

I have tints and a spoiler on my CLS6 and now this car is on campus and its going to be a lookalike except for the debadged.

just wondering whos car it is. If you guys don't know drexel university is in philly.

TINT....it is called TINT, no matter how many windows have it. I see 02cls caught that as well.


Is tint up north uncommon? Around here, it's just something (nearly) everyone has.

I guess its a matter or location becuase I would never be corrected for saying tints or tint up here.

And for something as simple as that I think its a retarded correction.

Its not uncommon but up here you can get tickets for anything over 35%.

Well, look at it this way. You dont say, "Im putting breads on the plate," just like you wouldnt say, "Im putting tints on my car."

Def more popular where you are or in hotter areas, but not 'uncommon' here. Think about it, more people (both into mods and not) are prone to get their windows tinted in warmer temps.

Plus, the legal consequences aren't as strict for you kids down there (i.e isn't it legal to tint your windshields?).

P.S. - I have a black CL-S in Philly, maybe it was me. I don't really understand these posts, what do you do if it is someone on here? He posts and says, "yup, it's me" and you go on with your life? Or do you go get a cup of coffee?

You would say "I am putting the bread on the plate" or "I am putting a piece of bread on the plate" or "I am putting pieces of bread on the plate"

But we are talking about multiple windows So it would be like mulitple plates. haha.

So it would be "I am putting bread's' on the plates" or I am putting piece's' of bread on the plates" or I am putting parts of a piece of bread on the plates.

So if you want to get technical I have 5% on the front and 20% on the sides. Soooooo I have Tint's' on my windows.

If you can't tell I am being a wise ass. Because it can be interpruted. Its not "simple english".


The reason for this post is because I wanted to see whos car it was on my campus. I wanted to know if the lookalike was going to be on campus often. I understand it is dumb but many other people do it and no one getts flamed for it.

I am sorry If I am taking up anyones time or offending anyone. I am kidding. the only reason I got into the english thing (which is a joke) is because someone else corrected me on something that no one can prove is correct. I would say the word tints or tint would almost be slang since it is very specified defination.

wow, its funny how people could argue over something so stupid. haha, over in so cal, over 50% of us are asian and we really don't care if we say a word wrong, its not that big of a deal. i think it just depends on where you're from and your slang.
