Sportswing's spoiler
Has anyone installed Sportswing's cls spoiler? The problem that I have is that my truck lid is heavier than before the spoiler install and the truck lid doesn't open half way like it used to. Did anyone had the same problem and has anyone fix this problem? Thanks for the replies.
Thanks for the replies. Let me re-phrase my problem again. When I opened my truck lid 90 degree, the lid doesn't stay open. Especially, when there's a small breeze, it shuts itself. I like to find out if I need to get a thick torsion bar or something I can adjust?

Mine has the stock spoiler and has never opened more than a crack unless I lift it manually............don't feel bad, it's not your aftermarket spoiler.

That's a good thing!!!
you don't want your trunk to pop open too much. You might have a nice system, or some personal crap that others (neighbors, haters, parking lot pedestrians, etc..)will see when the trunk flies open.
My $0.02

The factory spoiler comes with heavy duty torsion bars for the trunk lid. You should see if you can buy them from your dealer.

First of all, what is a Sportswing spoiler??
Second, all you need to do is increase the tension on your trunks lifting mechanism. Go to your dealer and ask them to do it.
