Spincaps can be stolen
Damn!!!
I hate to hear that.
The spin-cap mechanism would be easy enough to override with the proper unlock tool or even a paper clip. I think of them as a deterrent rather then a failsafe mechanism.
Damn. Damn. Damn.
I just noticed the other day that crome valve stem caps are only a few bucks at Autozone. It's probalby worth it just to have those and replace as needed.
At least these kids don't drain the air out of the tires or otherwise vandalize the car.

That's too bad
How's the exhaust holdin' up for ya?
Looking back in retrospect, I should have kept it. School scheduling conflicted with my plans to buy a bike so I started modding the CL-S again....arrrgh.

I have them both on my car and my wife’s RAV4.
Last weekend when I washed the cars I went to check the air pressure and two of the 4 on my car were pretty loose.
They spun right off without the “key”.
I think it’s because there’s no gasket in there at the top.
They’re not quite the quality I expected, but for 13-bucks shipped for eight I guess I really can’t complain.
I cranked them on pretty hard this time and I’m gonna keep an eye on them.

be careful with aftermarket valve caps - most of them are not the same type metal as the valve stem, and over time w/ a little H2O they'll corrode inside and if you put em' on too tight you WONT get them off w/o a saw or drimmel...solution for me was to spray a drop of WD40 inside before putting them on tight.

The SpinCaps® recommend the same in their instructions -- actually, they recommend putting a tiny bleb of anti-seize lube on the threads before screwing them on.

I’m still kinda pissed that there’s no gaskets.

I did try to trim a rubber band into little gaskets and it just looked silly.

And I hope they get them stuck on their bikes!
