Speaking of warped rotors...
So I had the CLS at Mile High Acura in Denver on Monday to get my drivers window regulator replaced and for the rotor issue. The tech drove the car and determined the rotors were in fact warped, duh! The service rep told me that the rotors on my car were replaced when the car had 15k on it by the previous owner. He said Acura will not approve them to do it again. He said they say it's "normal wear and tear" because the car has 47K on it. I told him I knew about the bulletin on it and he still told me they wouldn't cover it. At that point I started to throw a fit in their service department about it and I told him I'll just call Acura myself and get them to do it because the car is still under warranty. He said that was fine and that me being the customer, I might have a better chance of gettng them to cover it under warranty. So I said fine, I'll call them today. About 30 mins later he comes out the lounge where I was waiting and says that since I was upset about the rotors, they will turn them for me at no charge and eat the cost of it. I was happy at that point. Now, the car is fixed and bakes smoothly but aren't they supposed to replace them rather than turn them? Everything I've read on this forum sounds like they have been replaced, not turned. This happen to anyone else? Is this bad? I feel like I got screwed by the dealer that I liked.... likED! ....just venting.

Not really, if the rotors can be tunred, they will be, besides it's not like the TSB get you 'better rotors' or anything.
I had mine resurfaced under warranty and I got new front pads out of the deal, but the rotors only got resurfaced. If you truly want to get rid of the prblem, go with some aftermarket Rotors, like Rotora, some of our vendors can get you good prices

lol, Iw as at mile high acura over a month ago adn was getting my wheel locks removed (I lost the key, stupid me) and heard one of their service reps suggestinga tranny flush and all kinds of shit for a TL-S. Then after he left I went up to the lady adn told her tha if her car had less than 100k miles on it they were required to replace the tranny if it was defective. She was all happy that I saved her the money they were trying to jack her for the flush.
on a side note: I never did get a call about the new wheel lock key, I'll just get some wheel lock set from my local big-O tires or something.
oh yeah, and I love my rotoras
