Spark Plug Question

I'm planning on chaining my plugs for making the trip to Honda Day next weekend.
A quick search turned up these: http://www.jegs.com/i/NGK+Spark+Plug...6F-11/10002/-1

Can that be right for 3.69 a piece?

I know the plug model number i need is zfr6f-11.

The dealer also wants $30 a plug, plus 2 hours of labor, I asked the service advisor if he'd get on his knees as say that one more time

That isn't the right plug. The OEM plug part number is:

Premium: PZFR5F-11
Type S: PZFR6E-11

The regular "V-Power" plugs are without the P at the beginning of the part number. The "Laser Platinum" have the P at the beginning, and they are OEM. A lot of members here use the "Iridium IX" for more of a performance plug.

Don't buy the plugs from the dealership. They are overcharging the plug price by over 100%. Also, it's a one hour job even if you DIY.

I just realized those are the wrong plugs. The dealer told me the plug number is IZFR6K-11

I'm assuming the difference between the two is iridium and platinum?

That is the part number for the "Laser Iridium." That is the correct plug for the 6spd CL engine, so get that if you have a 6spd engine.

I'm running the lazer iridium plugs in my auto CL. Notice nothing bad with them. Generally iridium>platnium. The only difference with the auto and manual engines is the cam sensor so running iridiums in the auto CL engines won't be bad but you can run either lazer plugs. FYI, the 3G TL J32 engines are running the lazer iridium plugs in both the auto and manual versions.

Try O'Reilly if you have one close by. If they don't carry it, you might have to go to the dealer. You can bring a print out of Curry ACura's prices and have them price match.
They run 15.07 for both the lazer iridium and platnium plugs. If you can wait, Curry offers free shipping. You can also have Tim @ Hondacuraparts price match or beat the price, again if you can wait.

I got the IX on amazon for 7.XX each plus free shipping since it was over 25, FYI they are over 10 right now, but a good place to watch for price fluctuation.

I forget my part number, but I have been running the cheaper Laser Iridium plugs I got from Advance Parts for a year now... Can't say I really can tell a difference, and if i did lose a few hp because its "one step colder", I guess doesn't matter to me.

I'm one of those guys when it comes to engine parts i'm strictly OEM. And if I can afford it OEM for everything else.

NGK Iridium IX plugs are not the same as the NGK Lazer Iridium plugs. As far as I know, there's only 1 iridium plug with "lazer" in the name.
