What are you guys 1/4'ing at? I can hang with Juker008's CL-S with just AEM CAI. If I can run in cooler weather, I can turn up boost and that would produce some interesting results.

I know, it's painful to have a turbo. Tonight when the roads were wet and it was cooler I was pushing about 14-15 psi, but in the day time I can only push 11

This will be my 1st time to the track with my car. I know CLSmike ran 13.83 at 102mph without headers. I am looking for about a 13.6 @103-104mph. We'll see if that will be possible with 18's weighing the same as stock SEE FAQ's.
I can't even put my stocks back on b/c I don't have tires, oh well I hope 18's don't hurt my performance.

 

Hey Mike, Why don't we go on Sept 20th. I just checked Moroso's website & it is from 6pm to 2am. We will have time to get more runs. Just a thought, I will still go in the 13th if you prefer, I just think it will be more fun for midnight madness. Let me know.

 

I'll try to make it also. I tried a few months ago with the TL guys, but the damn thing kept getting rained out.

Why not go Sept 28th the day before the event. My friend went the day before the Aug event and got in 14 runs! It's from 4-9 I believe. I also read in the newsletter that they were gonna do some test and tunes for street cars only. That means no waiting for the 10 sec domestics to run.

 

I'm definetly missing something here. You have a CL-R (doesn't exist to my knowledge) 2nd of all, you have a 3.5 liter engine for your 3.2 CL... OK, so judging by this I will be screwed if I race you. But how does that work?

i too went on the August 16th test & tune 6PM - 2AM with a member from here Juker008 and we got about 10 runs in. But guys, that was on a Wednesday (much less people) and Fridays are also packed, forget Saturdays.

 

Well if you guys want to go on the 20th (Midnight Madness) we could do that it lasts longer and you will get more runs. Whatever you guys want to do is fine with me, I just want a chance to run.

I may not be able to run Nitrous if we do go this week. I had a slight pressure problem that made my tanks burst disc go flying so one is on the way but it might not get here that soon im calling ZEX as we speak.

I was just joking about running you and being stock......i expect to break high 13's havent been to the track yet with the new block...i have run 9.4 in the 1/8th on my pre 3.5 shortblock setup...

Bro it sounds good. But 13th....I don't do very well on Friday 13ths. Shit I don't do well on 13s at all. I've got leave from work on this 13th. On one of the 13s I almost lost the tip of my left wedding finger, and on another 13 I got into an accident in my old car. Luckly the guy who I hit was charged with the accident and his D-Day was yesterday the 12th. So about meeting up on Friday. I don't know I'll be bunkered underneath my bed with my PS2 controler in hand and GT3 in the deck smoking those Limited
Edition race cars in Professional league. I'm only 10 races from beating the game. No cheats. I just got the Professional Licence yesterday....sure all bronze but I still got the licence anyway.

Good shit. I got 75% done. I still haven't touched the Endurance. I rented Madden 2k3 so that will be pushed back for a week.

I'm heading up September 20 with two more volvos. Another 850 running low 15's, and a C70 running mid 14's, hopefully we'll have some nice competition . So let's try to get some CL's on the 20th as well. BTW, on the 13th, I'll bet you can only get about 3 runs, while the 20th is Midnight Madness (6PM - 2AM) as opposed to 6PM - 11PM (usual runs) and no matter what, Friday's are packed... so the 20th might be a better day

I'll try to get into the 14.8 range, with lower tire pressure and turning up the boost and higher octane gas, of course, that is very optimistic with the boost I've been getting lately . Wait a minute, u tellin me that u haven't gotten a F1 car yet??? If u think the Escudo is a blast wait till u take out an F1 car. I just got a new one that I won in a Professional race. I thought the old F1 that I got was fast nooooo way. This new one is 973hp/12,000RPMs and only weighs 540Kg. Now just emagine screaming through the corners at 'double' teh speed of ur best cornering car that u have. Oh and the Endurance races are a blast just as long as u take the Escudo. 2,700 miles on the original factory oil in the Escudo, I'm waiting for the engine to blow . Another thing see if u can beat this....295MPH in the Escudo on teh Test Track "W/O" drafting. Ah, with drafting I've gotten it up to 330.

Alright guys I've made up my mind. I "will" be going to Moroso this Fri. 'and' I will be going next Fri. the 20th.

The reason to this is because last night (Mon.) I was leaving Guppies (Flanagan's) on Plametto and Federal in Boca. I met up with this guy (ah, 26) in a Silver S2000. We went and I hung up till about 6K on my tack in 2nd. We got stuck at a light and I told him that he has an S2000 and that he would smoke me he said yea. I told him that he should come to Moroso this Fri. cause there will be a CLS meet there. He seemed very interested. Light turned green, and we went at 45 the speed limit there until we were open. The we WENT. I remember staying with him until 6K in 3rd and had to shif out of 3rd in to 4th. I remember looking at the speedometer and reading 105 at one point. So I let off and slowed down, he leans over and tells me that was a great run. So I asked the guy to pull over I wanted to check out his car. But he tells me "NO U PULL OVER!". And snaps a U-turn. I make the next possible U and see a Boca pig making the same U and the S2000. The pig ends up pulling the guy over off of Federal. So I go around the block and see that it is the same S2000 that I raced. Knowign that this guy is definately going to jail. I mean we were doing at lease 105 in a 45. That is def. an arrestable offence. So I go to the nearest dark spot and wait to see what was going to happen. 5 mins later I decided to make another pass to see what was up. And they were all gone. The squad car and the S2000. I honstly think that the guy was let off with NOTHING just a warning. I FKin can't believe that. I thought for sure that the guy was gonna get busted. WOW.

So I'm hoping that the guy decides to make it to Moroso this Fri. He even asked me around what time we will be there and I said that the gates open at 6:00 but the guys may be there at 8:00.

About all u guys in Miami/Dade, Broward, and S.WPB. Lets all caravan. I-95 the whole way up till either Blue Heron or PGA.

But in reguards to JHEIII850Turbo, hes got a meet the next Fri. And has a couple friends that run some pretty good times...........compared to my stock CLS,...........j/k. So I say that we go this Fri. and next Fri. the 20th.

One more thing. Who is that guy in the TLS. That JHEIII850Turbo and I met on a Wens. He said that he was gonna come up to Moroso and that he was a member of the TLS forum and the CLS but I never got in touch with him by EM. I remember the guy saying that him and his friend were from Miami. So if u know who u are PM me of if u know the guy have him PM me.


Also if some of us were to some how get there late. Pig pulls us over, busy doin drive-bys, shit like that. What will be the numbers to look for.
