sooo pissed

so I need to get an alignment. so my dad tells me to go to sears (flame on) but they dont do alignments on lowered cars. so i end up at a tire kingdom.
2 hours later i get in my car and its still pulling as bad as it was before i got in aligned. so i go back and tell them, so the guy says that hell rotate the tires to see if thats what it needed. so they do and in doing so they break a stud. so now my car sint aligned and im riding four lugs on my front driver side wheel.
im just really pissed cause it took up my whole day to do this and i have go back tomorrow and fix it.

first sears lied. they DO align lowered cars, they did mine. i even have the full ingalls control arms which are a bitch to adjust. i think it was a case of they didn't want to jack with it. next time whatever shop you go to hang out with them and watch. make sure it's where you want it, i had them put a slight bit of neg in my camber. make them show you that it's aligned properly if it is still pulling. sucks they broke the stud.

i like small shops. they take more care with your car. cltypeslow has a small mom and pop shop he takes his slammed car to and they have done a perfect job. lowered cars just take more time.

My friend is a manager at the TK on Hallendale Beach BLVD, he usually does my alignment, balancing, etc. He'll take care of you if you don't mind traveling the distance, it's like 20 miles from my house, but its worth the trip for me to get the job done right. Just ask for Denver and tell him The Cookie Monster sent ya (hence TCM, its my nick name).

100 N.W. Hallandale Beach Blvd.
Hallandale, FL 33009 is the address I believe.

I use Kire Kingdom & never had a problem. They just put new tires on my car & aligned it fine.

Firestone lifetime alignment $150 = free alignments for the time you own the car. And yes if you have lowered it is possible you need camber kit(s). Every car is different tho. Hope it works out for you. Oh and if you go this route ensure that what ever Firestone has a designated full time specialist. We have several Firestones here in town but only one will touch my car.

Meh... I work at wheel works and a lot of the times we recommend camber kits because the camber is BARELY out of spec... i'd just tell them to adjust everything else and leave the camber as is. You might wear a little bit but just rotate your tires every 3 or so thousand miles.

Don't party too hard. You might wind up hitting a curb and throwing the alignment off!
