Wassup everyone...

Been lurkin here for a few weeks, and I have to say this is one of the best forums I have read in awhile. My mom's Explorer comes off lease this Monday, and I wanted to get her a nice car, so we test drove a few.. A6, Volvo S80, Passat, C-Class, M-Class, and, lastly, the CL and CL-S. My mom really never drives fast, but she did like the feel of the CL-S quite a bit, so for $2k more I convinced her of it. We talked to the mom of a buddy of mine who owns a CL w/Navi and she convinced my mom to get the Navi too. Fully pimped

The salesperson (John from Go Acura! in Grand Rapids, MI) was, unfortunately, not much help. He said he could get Red/Parchment.. then no. Then said he found a Red/Black.. then no. Finally located one, but had 400 miles. Can't have that.. so kept looking and found one with 90. My mom didn't like the white, black, or silver, so red was the only choice we thought. In the process of him looking for the color choice I asked him about Aegean Blue, because I saw others on this board with this color on the CL-S.. but he said not available. Acura customer service says the same. Am I missing something here?

Well we take delivery Thursday.. my mom will be without a car for a few days. This guy was slow as hell in finding a car.. said it would only take 3-4 days tops and it has taken over 3 weeks. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait

The color thing was the only question. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I have another thread with another question..

To answer your question "Aegen blue " exists, there are a few members here with it and it looks pretty dfamn sweet. In the dealers defense , CL-s with navis are not too common at dealers, I have been to three in teh atlanta area and none had them , said they could get them but dont have them in stock , not as much demand for it . But 3 weeks is a joke, Besides you would probably have got a better deal by getting one already on his lot.
I like the red, but I am biased
