Sometimes, the NAV really BITES!

ok, going to the carwash today (it'll probably rain tomorrow, but my car was nasty all week from the nasty weather in San Antonio...I even got to use my butt warmers this morning! but anyway...). So I looked up several carwashes (looking for self serve ones with the watergun) in the phone book. I found one earlier this week, but it was kinda nasty. So i found one on Bandera Rd, and enter in the address and stuff in the navi.

Not knowing how to get there, I follow the nav and it takes me to Bandera road, about 5 minutes from here, but it then takes me about 7-8 miles up Bandera. About 6 miles up Bandera, I pass I410. Now, if I took I410 to Bandera, it would've taken me about 5 minutes instead of like 20 w/ all the traffic. So going back, I decide to use the Nav again. Now it instructs me to take I410!

What the hell? I know I could keep on hitting the detour function until it directs me the right way, but I'm pissed of initially because it SHOULD'VE KNOWN...IT TOOK ME BACK THE FASTER ROUTE!

Anyway, the carwash I found is pretty nice, but kind of expensive. a 15 minute carwash (tires, pre-rinse, soap, a little brushing (which i hate), and rinse) cost me $5, and I was in a hurry because it was getting cold again.

Yeah, you have to watch that. the NAV doesn't know the meaning of the word 'traffic'

Looks like you are on the NW side of town. How do you like it so far?

I would love to try the 02 upgrade and see if it makes a difference. I have caught the Nav going the long way...

besides the bitchy weather on the drive down and the first week i had my car here, it's been pretty nice.

i'm getting paid $42 a day to use my car, so i think i'm making out alright (this along with $42 /day for just food).

after being in chanute, ks, everything here is so close, even if it's 30 minutes away.
