Something is up.. Need help!

Guys as you all know i had the alky installed lasr week and everything went well. Something strange happend to my car today and I want to know what it may be.
As I was driving I punched it and it just tooook off but when it hit third gear it SLOWED DOWN and the check engine light was blinking over and over. the alky was runnning so i know it wasent that. Could it be that bad TPS sensor that I h ave never replaced? The engine didnt seem to be detinating or hesitating at all. but something was and is obvoiusly not right. Can anyone help out to what it may be? I;m hoping it just the TPs that went all the way bad... PLEASE HELP

Pull the code on a scanner. Sounds to me like may be spark issues. But I could be wrong.

im going to go to autozone and pull the code. I was thinking misfire but it was working fine at japtrix and was tuned correctlly. The car would have been misfiring at japtrix if it was that...

Well I hope it is not that. You really think it would go just like that? within a week.... ? hmm. I called japtrix and they said they will look at it and take care of whats wrong....what do you think is causing the misfires if it is tuned correctlly?

I hope your engine is ok! I dunno how many threads I read of HBP S/C folks not disconnecting their IMRC and messed up engines

Quite possibly man... you should never have the IMRC connected with the HBP on unless you had it tuned to provide more fuel during engagement.

Hopefully your engine didn't take a dump but I can relate =(

my engine is NOt blown!!!! it was the methanol that was injecting way to early and causing extreme rich AFR. The set it to come on at 5 lbs instead of 2 lbs of boost. We did some hard pulls a few times and it worked fine..... by the way the engine codes were all misfires because of the rich mixture.

That's great news!

I'm assuming that the Unichip was tuned to add fuel before IMRC and VTEC. Those appear to be the two main areas that the motor goes lean.

Do you know if this is what they did Italia?
