Something strange is happening since lowering my car

Last weekend I installed my H&R sport springs and tokico hp struts, and I love the setup. My problem is that since the install if I am driving and I let off the gas the car only slows down a tiny bit, or not at all compared to before. This is making me really run up on things and have to use my brakes a whole lot more. It is really strange since my suspension mods should have no affect on the car during coasting.

Anyone else experince this or should I have it looked at?

Thanks,

Hmmm.

Could you have done something to the brakes during the install? Could you be dragging a shoe on the parking brake?

you may have freed up a sticky brake or the gas pedal is now sticky. When you push in the clutch, do the revs stay up?

I didn't touch the brakes at all during the install, but a co-worker suggesting the same thing today about the clutch so I will try that today at lunch. Its strange because before I could let of the gas and it would start to slow down due to the gearing just like everyother car, but now its acting like it has little or no rolling resistance

just went out and tested it.........

When I push in the clutch the RPMS hold for a sec or two then drop, which is normal for the 6spd. Hopefully its just in my head, but since im the only one who has ever driven my car I can't easily get a second opinion because no one knows how it drove before. I might have them check into this when I get it an alignment next week.

Never heard of that. Never noticed a difference with mine. Might be in your head Car could have loosen'd up a bit over time too. Might have a dirty TB or IAC valve. Spray some carb cleaner in the Tb & clean it a little.

is it a drastic difference??? or do you just notice that its a little bit different than before??? Could it just be because the car is lower to the ground and less air is under the car, causing less resistence????
