Some ?'s on headlight bulbs.
Need a new HID light bulb who makes it OEM?
I went to autocarparts.com and they said its the TL, do the TL and CL use the same HID bulb.
And to those that switched the HIgh beams to match the HID's, where did you get them, I remember someone said they got the cheaper ones for 39.99, where was that?

all i know is that they're d2r. i'm sure that the tl and cl bulbs are the same. www.autolamps-online.com has 6000k bulbs for $145 each. they give off a more purple-ish tint

I think the original bulb is a Phillips d2r. I'm not sure where you can get them. I am sure the dealer has them, but you will pay an arm and a leg for them. Go to the dealer and see if he has one in stock, if he does ask him to see it. Then you will know for sure.

If you go to xenonfactory.com you can get phillips/osram, which is the OEM brand, for $270 a pair. They are 6000k though. But they are the best bulbs that Phillips makes.
I have a pair of aftermarkets i got for $115 at plasma garage.com and they are 8000k and work great. They havent blown yet.
By the way D2R and D2S can both be used in all CL headlight cases 97-03. The only difference is that D2R give it a nicer cutoff line. Email me if there are any more questions...
