Solara vs. CL type-s
Solara vs. CL type-s
I wonder if a Toyota Solara 2005 SLE with the 3.3L VVTi v6 motor with 225hp and 240ft lbs of torque can smoke a CL Type-S with 260hp and 232ft lbs of torque. Any opinions?

My uncle wants me to trade in my car but the thing is he'll only chip in if the next car i get is auto. I want a manual so bad but he won't let me because of the fact he doesn't like manual.

Come to think of it, I've NEVER seen a guy driving a Solara.
Then again, I think the majority of Toyota/Lexus buyers are women. As far as this thread, the new Solara powertrain is the best it's ever had. That said, the CL-S would waste it ridiculously.

AFAIK, they only run mid-low 7 0-60 times: well within CL-P range and measurably slower than the CL-S 5AT.
