SoCal Price?

What would be a good purchase price to pay for a either a silver or white non-nav CLS in Socal? Edmunds says $28.9k, but I've read a lot of people finding 'em for about $27k.

I'm debating between the non-nav CLS and 20th Aniv Maxima.

Dude, what the hell r u thinking, a Maxima? WTF, screw that, I love my Type S, its unbeatable for its price. The prices u mentioned were very cheap, i payed 32 w/ nav, and i live in socal. Thats the best price i've heard of. Please, what ever u do, DONT GET THE MAXIMA!

I don't think there's anything wrong with the Maxima. It's a very solid car with a few weakpoints- transmission is questionable I think, weak paintjob, and it's fugly. The car has a lot of oomph. I've test driven both cars, Maxima and the CL-S, and the Maxima felt a little stronger (despite the 35hp trailing). Maybe the Maxima's power comes in a little earlier than the CL-S. Plus, the Max has the manual tranny.

But the CL-S has a lot going for it too. The best is the Honda reliability. I have a 92 Accord with 203k, so I can attest to that. Plus, the car is pretty good looking, and the specs are sweet. And it comes in silver!

Prices are similar, I think the CL-S is about $1.5k more expensive. I still haven't made a decision, and I figure I'm in no rush.

Can anyone attest to Acura's customer service?

To give you an idea, purchased my CL-P Non Nav (2/10/01) for $26,571 including spoiler, flaps and wheel locks. I know that this is not a S-Type, but you can figure about an additional $2000.00 more for one. 28,000/28,500 would be a good price.

My experience with Acura Customer Service has been pretty good. If they have not been able to answer a question thaey will try to direct you to the right person.

i paid about $31,600 for the car described in my signature on 2/25/01. that's not including taxes or anything, the total drive-off price was $34,500.

price your car at greenlight.com and bring a printout with you to show the salesman if necessary. the greenlight.com price on my car was just $700 over invoice (not including dealer installed accessories).
