I have doubt about Weir Canyon. They gave me crap when I complained about the warped front rotors at 12k miles. I have to SHOW THEM the TSB before they did it for me.

They plainly REFUSED to do it again when the shimmer came back at 45k miles. They quote me $160 to turn them!

Damn... I thought only two people on this forum from Anaheim Hills. Guess it's four now. But anyways, I need to get my rotors/brakes worked on too. I got a little over 20000 miles on it, and it was shaking real bad when I was in traffic on the way to Vegas this past weekend.

I used to go to Weir Canyon, way too much hassle when it comes to warranty work. They will also tell you they have no rentals, and it always seems to be a problem fitting you in thier schedule.

A few months back I tried Metro Acura in Montclair off the 10fwy, because on thier website, they were the only one in SoCal that had the Acura 5 star rating for 2002 not some year way back in the past. They satisfied me and more, took care of all my work no questions asked!

When my tranny went a few weeks back, I was skeptical, I knew this would be the test. I saw Andy Dobler the service manager, no BS, tranny was done in a week, its smooth, and they did it right the first time, trust me, I beat the shit out of it to test it. Thier policy is rental cars for everyone, but they go through Hertz down the street, so I rolled a Kia Optima for a week, it even had sportshift tranny too! Andy says they have had problems in the past with the vehicles on the lot being borrowed out, so they just go with Hertz. I dont give a shit, as long as I am getting a ride while my car is fixed no questions asked. Call them and make sure you ask for Andy Dobler. It may be out of your way, it was a little for me, but I have tried Thomas, Pasadena, Riverside & Wier, with only Thomas being half way decent. Metro is the shit my man. And for the record, I am in Diamond Bar.

Well, I'm not trying to defend Weir Canyon Acura or anything, but my experience with them has always been pleasant. I had to bring my car in to get the rear view mirror tightened and get the moonroof squeak fixed, and they took care of it in a day and a half. Also, they hooked me up with a loaner while the CL was getting serviced. No questions asked...and I'm only 23.

I've been to Keys and they have pretty good service. But I havent been there for any major warranty work. Only had a speaker replaced cuz it blew out. :P But they replaced it free of charge no questions asked. Ask for Josh or Eric.

I had decent luck at keyes when they had to replace my stereo underwarranty, but now my steering wheel control has been fucked up eversince and i havent bothered to go back yet. One thing about them i dont like is no rentals. Ive been wanting to try acura of pasedena.

And last time i asked everyone was talking up acura 101.

Acura 101 West is good. Replaced my tranny in about 3 days. They are good on warranty work....except the TSB on the rotors...no luck here at all! I believe they do mods. They sell alot of Comptech parts.

Bobbydoedoe,

Good luck, make sure you ask for Andy Dobler, let him and only him take care of it. If you want me to call him and let him know your coming, PM me. I talk to him offline occasionally.

Peace
