So ya think Acura isn't listening? Re: Commercial
Well,
Anybody seen the new commercial of a black CLS going really quick through twisties?
The fast paced commercial had the rpms going wild (seeming to go beyond the rev. limiter)
and "yesterday was Aspen" line?
Here you have it. To those of you who asked for it, eat your cake :p

Side Topic: Red Toyo Celica GT commercial showing off sporty bodykit.
I thought it was cool.
All they had to do was use a nice looking Red Celica with a kit *parallel parked* in front of a house, and a dog came mad running outa the house to chase it down and BAMMM!
slammed into the rear..
DUMBASS dog. haha
Seconds later an old man across the street walking by yells out: "Slow down! This is a neighborhood PUNK!"

I just saw the CL-S Aspen commercial again. It looks Monterrey blue to me. But then in some shots it looks black. Not that there's much difference to begin with. Maybe it IS black and the blue tint is a reflection from the blue sky.

Just curious...is there a particular station that you guys are seeing the Acura commercial on? Sometimes these commercials play on a specific station or time more than others and I'd love to see it.

The new CLS commercial is certainly an improvement on Acura's part but I still think the RSXS commercial is better. (gives a sportier feeling for the car. plus you see a real shifter going through the 6 gears that we can only dream about.)

I think these things are regional.
So for those of you on the East Coast, the Black CLS was actually Monterey Blue on the West Coast :p
For me, I could care less.
My idea for a new commercial introducing the
long awaited bodykit would be the following:
Ever wonder what the S stood for in CL-TypeS?
Type Sexy.....
Type Sport....

Oh my gawd. I thought it was green! Better living through ealy years of chemistry has come back to get me I guess.

I thinkt he Eclipse commercial was pretty good. Thay have that shot of the 30+ year old guy in a tie and pinstripe shirt with that 19 year old punk girl. Not bad. I think we'll see a few mid life crises happen in those cars.

i think there must be like 2 versions of that commercial then...'cuz i just saw it like 30 seconds ago and it said, "fyi:" and then changes to "that was aspen"
i think my favorite commercial is the civic one with the kid in the back between those two girls and he starts spreading his legs.
i thought the chick in the passenger seat was hot.

ok, just saw it...it's blue...definitely wish it was available last summer...dunno if i still would've chosen the red, but it would've been fun deciding
