you pull off from a light and the shifter pops back into neutral. You put it back in 1st and every other 5 gears and when you hit the gas, the tach and the speedo just rev and you go nowhere....Yeah that's what just happened. I think my clutch is toast. It's never been changed and I have 109k miles on the speedo, so I guess it's about time, it's just bad timing. I'll probably have it dropped off at the dealer on Monday. Anything I should ask or have them check while I'm having them swap it out?
Also, can a clutch going bad cause the car to stall spordically while coming to a stop? My car was doing this recently before it went out.
