So I went to the dealer for my 54k service...

My shocks are in poor condition and need to be replaced. I was surprised when they told me Im better off with aftermarket ones. They said OEMs cant handle the extra pressure when you put aftermarket springs? How much should i expect to use on some good aftermarke ones?
Also my camber is way off and my tires need to be replaced.... I asked the service guy if a camber kit was the solution, but he told me it would only minimize the uneven wear? What other solutions do i have to this problem? Does uneven wear affect performance?
Rotors warped again (Im gonna stay away from the OEM ones this time).
And i made a thread about spilling a lot of soda inside my car some time ago:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169898
I asked them how much it would cost to clean it up. Only the labor was gonna be 180 dollars (taking it apart) and they had to see what parts had to be replaced... so i was wondering if you guys know a website that helps you take apart your car? like dash and transmition stick
This in gonna be an expensive one........

as far as the uneven wear hurting performance, if its minimal as in barely noticable, probably wont see a difference, but if the part of the tire that needs to contact the ground isnt fully doing that, your performance in rain/snow could be compromised as well as breaking and cornering. not to mention you will chew up the tire and void any mileage warranty on the tire

Never!
Keep your aftermarket springs on and upgrade to Tokico whites or blues.
I'll love the difference.

Tokico HP Blue (eBay)
Rotora Rotors w/ new pads (AZ Vendor)
Get a camber kit. A camber kit will allow you to bring your camber back to factory specs. Did you get an alignment after you put the springs on?

would I need both front and rear camber kits? The only ones i could find were the SPC camber kits at c-c-c.net. Do you guys think their price is reasonable?
Anyone that has Tokico HP Blue: Did they change the height of the car?

What do those degrees mean on the camber kits? I have a Eibach Pro-Kit on my car right now. Would that kit work (SPC)?

I have so many questions... I made my calculations and the price for Shocks and a camber kit (both front and rear) would cost around 665... Am I better off buying TEIN Type Basic Coilovers? If I buy the coilovers would it fix my uneven tire wear? Would I still need to buy new shocks?
