So I just said screw it and bought these...

After thinking about it, I said screw it and called Excelerate and these came in today

My Comptech Headers

As you guys know, they cost a pretty penny, but sometimes You gotta treat youfself. Plus, I wanted to keep the Comptech theme going

And these too:
Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Thanks Josh

Can't go wrong man, a solid buy when you think about how long you plan on having the car....

I for one went the same route as you.. The peace of mind was worth the premium price, in addition, once I decide to part out my car when I sell it, the Comptech Headers will fetch $500-600 on ebay or in the black market. So just look at it that way, in actuality you only spent $600 in the long run.

Nice choice

Congratulations on the purchase. One thing can be said for sure: there is no other header out there for Honda/Acura V6s that is comparable in quality.

Comptech may have been overpriced at times, but damn did they know how to make good parts.

Will you be installing these yourself or getting them installed? If installing yourself, how hard do you think the brake lines will be?

Nice pickup! Enjoy the new gains... and decrease in mpg.

When are they going in?

no, there is a place around here that has Comptech certified techs, so i'm just going to drop it off while i'm at work and pick it up after. I don't think the lines are that hard. probably takes about a couple hours with the bleeding and whatever

I was making a joke. Most people that have headers installed have mentioned their MPG temporarily decreased b/c of their newfound heavier foot.

Now that I relook at them, they don't look like Comptech Headers.

The CARB badge is on the top of the header... with the way he took the pic, you won't see it. When they are installed, you can't miss it.

Nice choice... I was thinking about buying the last of Josh's (Excelerate) CT headers too, but I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to keep my CL...

yeah, they kind of do in the pics, but in person they're totally different. The piping comptech uses is thicker and you can tell the materials are better. I bought and sold a set of XS headers before even installing them, and decided to go w/ comptech. I do think that comptechs are overpriced, but I'm happy with the quality and CARB certification.

Congrats SG81.

Well being that XS copied the Comptech design, I'm sure they'd look similar.
And GM is right, the CARB badge is on the top.

thanks guys, I know I won't be disappointed!
