here is a pic of the bumper. Im a noob, but what happens if i just pop it back?

also, i don't think you can see it in the pic, but the fog light is broken. instead of getting another replacement, im just gonna replace it with a grill just like one other cl member. it looked nice.

I do not think the 205 is the worst. I have almost been in 2 accidents on highway 4, there is always crap on that road.

Dude -

I had a similar dent. I hit a chunk of recap, also on 205 (I-205 in Oregon).

The plastic fender liner piece under the car got busted too, and had to be replaced, but as far as the bumper cover goes, I heated it up with a blow dryer and popped it out from behind. It wasn't perfect, but you really had to look to tell.

Buffed that bad boy out and I was good to go.

I ran the dryer over it for 5 minutes or so, moving it all the time, maybe 3-4 inches from the plastic. It was pretty warm to the touch. I had to use a chunk of wood to push from behind... It popped out pretty easily, and I kept the heat on it for a few minutes after popping it out and it got a lil better still. It kinda "wanted" to go back to its original shape.

Yours looks pretty bad tho - hope the paint doesn't flake off! But hey, you've got nothin' to lose - give it a try!

Good Luck.
