snow
I was amazed by how well my tl handled last night in the snow. I never slipped and never got stuck , those tires are great in the snow. My old max handled good but always slipped all over the road. just wondering how everyone else car is handleding in the snow. In the tristate area?

No trouble at all in the snow today or last night. Oh wait, I was driving my Exploder!
Over a foot of snow here.

The CLS handled 18 inches of snow flawlessly. Uphill, downhill, it doesn't matter. Atleast it didn't end up sliding nose-first at 10 mph into the center median, or stuck in my tracks, *cough * E class *cough* 3 series *cough* .
In my opinion, all you shmucks sittin on the side of the road can keep your clumsy RWD's.

This is the time of year I drive the Exploder anyway. It will go through anything. Now I am not a real experienced snow driver spending most of my life in Southern California. Snow there is something you look at on the mountains while you are on the beach in shorts.
Last Friday, northern NJ got hit hard about 6:30PM. No plows had been out yet and there was a good 5-6" of slush on I-287. Of course the semi's slow for nothing but I was amazed by the people in sedans with their flashers on doing 25 MPH in the left lane. Now I am not one to speed around them and upset them but I was in the minority. What possesses people to do that? (Stay in the left lane) I'm sure they all had to change underwear when they got home.
Then there's the guys who go flying around and through anything. I remember what someone told me when I moved here 8 years ago...... "Remember it is 4 wheel DRIVE, not 4 wheel STOP."
